Four corners stimulates student learning through movement and discussion. In the four corners of your classroom place four different opinions on a topic you want students to discuss. Ask students to walk to the corner in the room that best represents their feelings and view on the topic. Have the students discuss why they agree with the corner they stand in. Assign a group member to report out why they feel the way they do. In other cases, you can pre-determine where students will go by calling off numbers. Then have students discuss what they know about the corner they are standing in.
